Pakistan has announced 500 scholarships for students from Bangladesh over the next five years under the Pakistan-Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor initiative aimed at strengthening educational cooperation between the two countries.
According to a statement issued by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar had announced the launch of the Pakistan-Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor during his visit to Bangladesh in August 2025.
The Foreign Office said the second phase of the initiative was launched in Dhaka on May 10, 2026.
According to the statement, a Bangladeshi delegation is currently visiting Pakistan for three weeks under the Knowledge Corridor program.
The Foreign Office further stated that Ishaq Dar expressed satisfaction over the positive progress in bilateral relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh.
