The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Multan, has released the 9th Class Result Gazette 2026. The SSC Part-I First Annual Examination result was announced on Wednesday, September 2, at 10:00 a.m.
The 1,128-page gazette contains 144,141 unique roll-number records. A record-by-record count shows that 3,645 candidates were marked absent, leaving 140,496 candidates who appeared in the examination.
A total of 73,151 records display a numerical result, showing that these candidates cleared all their Class 9 subjects. Based on the records available in the gazette, the calculated pass rate stands at 52.07%.
The gazette covers regular and private candidates from Multan, Khanewal, Vehari and Lodhran districts.
The official gazette contains 144,141 individual candidate records. Among them, 3,645 entries carry the ABSENT status.
After removing absent candidates, the number of students who appeared stands at 140,496.
The file contains 73,151 records with a numerical total. In the BISE Multan gazette, a numerical total indicates that the candidate cleared all subjects. Students who did not clear one or more papers have the relevant subject abbreviations printed against their names.
The gazette lists every candidate by roll number. Each record contains the roll number, candidate’s name and result.
A three-digit numerical figure against a name represents the candidate’s total marks. It shows that the student passed all the required subjects at the SSC Part-I stage.
If the record displays subject abbreviations instead of total marks, the candidate did not clear those papers. For example, ENG, MATHS, PHY, CH and BIO refer to English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
The word ABSENT means the candidate did not appear in the required examination papers. Some records may also show special codes where the board has delayed, withheld or placed the result under review.
Students can download the gazette from the BISE Multan website.
Visit the official portal and open the Result Gazette (Matric) section. Select the SSC Part-I or 9th Class First Annual Examination 2026.
Open the gazette link and save the PDF on a mobile phone or computer. The document contains 1,128 pages, so it may take some time to download.
Students should use a PDF reader that supports text search. This will make it easier to find a roll number or name without checking every page manually.
Roll number is the quickest and most accurate way to locate a result in the gazette.
Open the downloaded PDF on a computer and press Ctrl + F. Enter the complete roll number and press Enter.
The PDF reader will take the user to the matching entry. Students should compare the displayed name with the details on their examination slip.
Mobile users can open the document and tap the search icon in their PDF reader. They should enter the roll number without spaces or additional words.
