PakEV has introduced the Volt Shark and Volt SharkX electric motorcycles at the Pakistan EV Expo 2026 as the company expands its lineup of lower-cost electric two-wheelers. According to PakEV, both motorcycles are locally manufactured and aimed at daily commuting and affordable urban transportation.

The Volt Shark is the lower-priced model with an estimated price of Rs. 270,000, while the Volt SharkX is expected to cost around Rs. 370,000. PakEV claims the Volt Shark offers a driving range of up to 100 kilometres, while the Volt SharkX is expected to deliver a claimed range of up to 150 kilometres on a full charge.

The Volt Shark uses a 1.9kWh battery pack, whereas the Volt SharkX features a larger 2.9kWh battery. Both motorcycles have a claimed top speed of 100 kilometres per hour.

The company said bookings for the electric bikes are currently available through PakEV outlets, with pre-booking requiring a 50 percent advance payment. According to PakEV, deliveries are expected to begin in around six months.

The company showcased both motorcycles during the Pakistan EV Expo as competition in Pakistan’s electric motorcycle market continues to grow amid rising fuel prices and increasing interest in lower running cost transportation alternatives.
