The latest Mobile Network Experience Benchmarking Report for Q1 2026 by OpenSignal has declared Zong the country’s overall top-performing mobile operator, based on more than 1.23 billion real-user measurements collected nationwide.

The Opensignal-powered study covering 159 districts shows Pakistan’s average mobile download speed stands at 18.60 Mbps.

Zong secured first place nationally in download speed, upload speed, video streaming quality and Time on Network, making it the most consistent performer.

Jazz ranked second overall, leading speed and video categories in several major cities including Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Quetta and Peshawar.

Ufone emerged as Pakistan’s strongest gaming network, topping multiplayer gaming experience in multiple cities.

Telenor recorded the weakest national speeds, except in one stat where it posted a 99.69 percent time-on-network score in Gwadar.

Major urban centers such as Lahore, Karachi, Multan and Faisalabad delivered significantly stronger mobile experiences compared to northern and frontier regions.

Multan produced one of the strongest performances nationwide, where Zong achieved the highest download speed recorded in major cities at 21.64 Mbps alongside top upload speeds and availability.

Jazz won in terms of speed, Zong in Network Availability and Ufone in gaming.

Jazz led speeds and video, Ufone dominated gaming, while Zong recorded highest availability.

Ufone was again best for gaming while Telenor was the worst.

Zong led all five benchmarking metrics in Lahore.

Ufone came 2nd in video, gaming, and time while Jazz came 2nd in upload, and 3rd in video, gaming and time on Network.

Zong came 1st in download, upload and Time on Network while Jazz took top spot for Video.

Jazz came 1st for Download, Upload, and Video.

Ufone came 1st for gaming, while Zong took the top spot for Time on Network.

Zong topped downloads while Ufone won in gaming.

Zong was best for downloads, while Telenor was best for video, and Ufone was best for gaming.

Jazz came 1st for top download speed of 21.77 Mbps. It also ranked 1st for upload and video.

Zong swept all categories by achieving first place across all metrics.
