Omoda has officially unveiled the Omoda 7 PHEV, a new mid-size plug-in hybrid SUV positioned above the Omoda 5. The company has not announced pricing or booking details yet and said both will be revealed during the vehicle’s official launch in August.
The Omoda 7 PHEV uses a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine paired with a dedicated hybrid transmission (DHT), producing a combined 341 horsepower and 525 Nm of torque.
The SUV features an 18.4 kWh battery, offering a claimed electric-only range of more than 90 km (WLTP) and a combined driving range of up to 1,200 km on a full battery and fuel tank.
The Omoda 7 PHEV measures 4,660 mm long, 1,875 mm wide, and has a 2,720 mm wheelbase. It rides on 20-inch alloy wheels and includes a panoramic sunroof.
Inside, the SUV comes with a 15.6-inch infotainment display featuring a sliding “Glide Function” that allows the screen to move toward the front passenger.
The SUV includes eight airbags and is expected to offer advanced driver assistance features such as Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), and Blind Spot Monitoring.
Omoda will announce the official price, booking details, and launch date for the Omoda 7 PHEV later this August.
