Omoda & Jaecoo Pakistan has officially launched the Omoda 7 SHS-P plug-in hybrid SUV in Pakistan, expanding its portfolio of new energy vehicles with its fifth NEV model in less than a year.

The company is bringing the SUV to Pakistan through NexGen Auto, which operates under Nishat Motor Company. The Omoda 7 follows the launch of the Jaecoo J6, Omoda E5, Jaecoo J7, and Jaecoo J5.

The company claims the SUV can travel more than 90 kilometers on electric power alone under the WLTP testing standard. It also claims the vehicle can deliver a combined driving range of approximately 1,200 kilometers on a full fuel tank and a fully charged battery.

The Omoda 7 features a borderless front grille, LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, 20-inch alloy wheels, flush door handles, roof rails, a panoramic sunroof, and full-width LED taillights.

The SUV also includes a power tailgate and a cargo area with 60:40 split-folding rear seats. Unlike many plug-in hybrid vehicles, the Omoda 7 comes with a full-size spare wheel.

The cabin features soft-touch leatherette, suede upholstery, and wood trim. The dashboard includes an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, a 15.6-inch sliding infotainment display, and a head-up display.

The SUV also offers wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 50W wireless phone charging, a built-in fragrance system, customizable ambient lighting, and voice controls.

The driver’s seat offers 10-way power adjustment, memory settings, lumbar support, heating, and ventilation. The front passenger seat includes a Zero Gravity recline function with a built-in massage feature.

The Omoda 7 comes equipped with eight airbags, a 360-degree camera, and a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS).

According to the company, the ADAS package includes Adaptive Cruise Control, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Monitoring, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Front and Rear Collision Warning, Door Opening Warning, and Driver Fatigue Monitoring.

The Omoda 7 SHS-P carries an introductory ex-factory price of Rs. 10,649,000 under a price-lock offer valid until August 31, 2026. Customers can book the SUV with a Rs. 2 million payment before the offer expires.
