Cambridge International Education (CIE) has announced that the postponed A Level Mathematics Paper 32 exam will now be conducted on June 8 as part of the June 2026 examination series.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, Cambridge also confirmed that assessed marks would be awarded to all candidates of A Level Mathematics Paper 52 in administrative zones 3 and 4, as well as all candidates of AS Level Computer Science Paper 12 in Pakistan after the papers were leaked online before the examinations.

The examination body said the AS Level Computer Science Paper 12, conducted on May 12, and Mathematics Paper 52 were “shared prematurely in Pakistan against strict regulations”.

Cambridge stated that assessed marks would be calculated using students’ performance in other completed components of the same syllabus, while the affected papers would be disregarded.

According to the statement, the approach was intended to remove any unfair advantage gained through cheating and ensure equal treatment for all candidates.

Cambridge clarified that the wider circulation of leaked material in Pakistan did not necessarily mean the source of the leak originated in Pakistan, adding that investigations into the breaches were ongoing.

The examination body also said it had been facing “sustained and focused efforts” to steal exam papers during the June 2026 examination series and confirmed that legal action was being pursued in coordination with law enforcement authorities and social media platforms.

Cambridge further warned that individuals involved in sharing confidential exam materials could face permanent disqualification from its qualifications and operations. The results release date for Cambridge International AS and A Level examinations will remain August 11, 2026.
