The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Gujranwala, has released the 9th Class Result Gazette 2026. The SSC Part-I First Annual Examination result became available on Wednesday, September 2, at 10:00 a.m. According to the official gazette, 257,318 candidates applied for the examination, while 249,352 appeared in the papers. Of these, 115,966 candidates passed, placing the overall pass percentage at 46.51%.

BISE Gujranwala conducted the Class 9 written examinations from April 17 to May 8, 2026. The result covers regular and private candidates from Gujranwala, Gujrat, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahauddin, Narowal and Sialkot districts.

The complete gazette contains 10,985 pages and provides institution-wise and roll number-wise result records.

The overall pass percentage fell from 49.37% in 2025 to 46.51% in 2026. This represents a decrease of 2.86 percentage points.

A total of 169,137 candidates appeared in the Science Group. Of these, 91,805 passed, producing a pass percentage of 54.28%.

Among regular candidates, 127,855 appeared and 74,789 passed. Their pass percentage stood at 58.50%.

Regular female candidates achieved a pass rate of 69.22%, while the pass percentage for regular male candidates was 46.79%.

The Science Group also included 41,282 private candidates. A total of 17,016 passed, placing the private candidates’ pass rate at 41.22%.

The General or Humanities Group recorded 72,244 candidates. Of these, 20,839 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 28.85%.

Among regular candidates, 47,287 appeared and 15,095 passed. Their overall pass percentage was 31.92%.

The pass rate for regular female candidates stood at 36.29%, compared with 19.28% for regular male candidates.

Meanwhile, 24,957 private candidates appeared in the General Group, and 5,744 passed. The pass percentage for this category was 23.02%.

BISE Gujranwala also published separate figures for four technical study groups.

Students can visit the official BISE Gujranwala website and open the results or downloads section. They should select the SSC Part-I First Annual Examination 2026 gazette and download the PDF file.

The gazette is a large document, so it may take time to open on a mobile phone or a slow internet connection. Students can save it on their device and search the file without repeatedly visiting the website.

Schools may also provide access to the gazette through their examination offices.
