The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Bahawalpur, has released the 9th Class Result Gazette 2026. The board announced the SSC Part-I First Annual Examination result on Wednesday, September 2, at 10:00 a.m.
The official gazette shows that 105,601 candidates appeared in the examination. Of these, 40,611 passed, taking the overall pass percentage to 38.46%.
BISE Bahawalpur received applications from 108,502 candidates. A total of 2,901 candidates remained absent or had their roll numbers cancelled.
The examinations started on April 17 and continued until May 8, 2026. The result covers regular and private candidates from Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar and Rahim Yar Khan districts.
The complete gazette contains 1,316 pages. It provides individual results, subject abbreviations, group statistics, grade details and district-wise performance.
The regular candidates achieved a higher pass percentage than those who appeared privately.
A total of 86,390 regular students took the examination. Of these, 35,544 passed, producing a pass percentage of 41.14%.
The board recorded 19,211 private candidates. A total of 5,067 passed, taking their pass percentage to 26.38%.
Female candidates recorded a considerably higher success rate in the BISE Bahawalpur 9th Class Result 2026.
A total of 54,854 female students appeared, and 25,935 passed. The female pass percentage reached 47.28%.
Among male candidates, 50,747 appeared and 14,676 passed. Their pass rate stood at 28.92%.
Rahim Yar Khan recorded the highest pass percentage among the three districts under BISE Bahawalpur.
The district had 39,644 candidates, of whom 16,053 passed. Its overall success rate stood at 40.49%.
Bahawalpur district recorded a pass percentage of 38.54%, while Bahawalnagar had the lowest rate at 35.83%.
A total of 34,200 students from Bahawalpur district appeared in the examination. Of these, 13,181 passed.
The district included 16,167 male candidates, with 4,576 passing at a rate of 28.30%. Among female students, 18,033 appeared and 8,605 passed, producing a success rate of 47.72%.
Bahawalnagar recorded 31,757 candidates, while 11,377 passed the examination.
A total of 15,001 male candidates appeared and 3,924 passed. Their pass percentage stood at 26.16%.
Among female candidates, 16,756 appeared and 7,453 passed. The female pass rate was 44.48%.
Rahim Yar Khan had the largest number of candidates in the Bahawalpur Board region.
A total of 39,644 students appeared, and 16,053 passed. The district recorded an overall pass percentage of 40.49%.
The result included 19,579 male candidates, of whom 6,176 passed. Meanwhile, 20,065 female students appeared and 9,877 passed.
The gazette provides separate statistics for regular students enrolled in government and affiliated institutions.
Government institutions had 57,175 candidates. A total of 18,459 passed, producing a success rate of 32.29%.
Affiliated institutions recorded 29,215 candidates, with 17,085 passing. Their overall pass percentage stood at 58.48%.
The Science Group included 87,629 students. A total of 36,241 passed, producing a success rate of 41.36%.
In the Humanities Group, 14,051 candidates appeared and 3,098 passed. The pass percentage stood at 22.05%.
The remaining candidates appeared in technical and other groups included in the overall result statistics.
Bahawalpur 10th Class Result 2026
The largest number of successful candidates received Grade B, followed by Grade A and Grade A+.
