A gas cylinder explosion triggered a massive fire at a well-known pizza shop in Hujra Shah Muqim, leaving three workers of the “Suthra Punjab” cleanliness campaign seriously injured, officials said.

According to rescue officials, the incident occurred when a gas cylinder inside the pizza shop exploded, causing multiple blasts that quickly engulfed the entire outlet in flames.

The fire destroyed property worth hundreds of thousands of rupees, including kitchen equipment, furniture, and other valuables inside the shop.

Rescue 1122 teams and fire tenders rushed to the scene shortly after receiving the alert. Rescue officials said they pulled the injured workers from the burning debris and provided first aid before shifting them to a nearby hospital, where they are currently receiving treatment.
