The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has announced a scheduled power suspension in parts of Lahore on April 30 for maintenance and repair work on electricity lines.
The utility said electricity will remain suspended from 8am to 2pm on feeders connected to the Emco Grid and Qila Sattar Shah Grid.
The affected feeders include Al-Fatah Textile, Serena, Bashir Pipe, Innovative, IIL, Qila Sattar Shah, Ideal Chemical, Faizan Madina, Ayesha Pipe, and Metro Tech.
The planned outage comes a day after strong winds and rain disrupted the city’s power system, causing widespread outages.
LESCO said more than 200 feeders tripped during the storm, while several areas also faced electricity suspension due to technical faults. It said restoration work is ongoing in phases, with field teams deployed to address faults and restore supply in affected areas.
