Lenovo has quietly added a new 15-inch laptop to its lineup. The IdeaPad Slim 5i, model 15IWC11, recently appeared on the company’s product specification site.
The listing gives a full look at the hardware before Lenovo has announced official pricing or availability details. The laptop appears to be a straightforward productivity machine built around Intel’s new Wildcat Lake processors.
The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5i comes with a 15.3-inch IPS touchscreen display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has a 1920×1200 resolution, giving it a taller 16:10 aspect ratio for more vertical space while reading or working.
The display reaches up to 400 nits of brightness and covers the standard sRGB color gamut. The laptop uses an aluminum chassis, comes in a gray finish, and weighs about 3.28 pounds.
Lenovo will offer the Slim 5i with either an Intel Core 5 320 or Core 7 350 processor. Both chips have six cores, including two performance cores and four low-power efficiency cores.
The laptop also includes a neural processing unit capable of up to 17 TOPS. This meets Microsoft’s baseline AI PC branding requirements, so the keyboard includes a mandatory Copilot key.
For memory, the laptop can be configured with 16GB or 32GB of RAM. However, the RAM is soldered to the motherboard, which means users will not be able to upgrade it later. Storage options include a standard M.2 SSD with up to 1TB capacity.
Lenovo is offering the laptop with two battery options: 54.7Wh and 70Wh. The spec sheet claims up to 22.8 hours of local 1080p video playback with the larger battery, though regular web browsing and work tasks will drain the battery much faster.
The port selection includes two USB-C ports with charging and display output support, two USB-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 port, a microSD card reader, and a headphone jack.
The laptop also has a 1080p webcam with a physical privacy shutter and an IR sensor for Windows Hello facial recognition.
Pricing and availability details should be revealed once the laptop is officially announced by Lenovo.
