Lahore Development Authority (LDA) generated more than Rs. 2.11 billion through the open auction of residential and commercial plots held at Expo Centre Johar Town on Tuesday.
According to details, the auction included 58 residential and commercial properties, including education sites, hospital sites, commercial plots, petrol pump sites, marquee sites, and commercial buildings.
Among the major transactions, leasehold rights of Plot No 1-B at Finance and Trade Centre Johar Town petrol pump site were auctioned for Rs. 184.5 million, while the Avenue One Block-B petrol pump site fetched Rs. 85.5 million.
Plot No 29 at Civic Centre Quaid-i-Azam Town petrol pump site was auctioned for Rs. 66 million, while Plot No C62-C73 in Block B-3 Gujjarpura fetched Rs. 67.5 million.
Leasehold rights of marquee sites at Finance and Trade Centre Johar Town also attracted major bids, with Plot No 7-A auctioned at an annual rent of Rs. 46.5 million and Plot No 7-B fetching Rs. 43.5 million annually.
Among commercial plots, Plot No 24 in Commercial Zone Avenue One was auctioned for Rs. 53 million, while commercial plots in Jubilee Town, Allama Iqbal Town, Sabzazar, Mustafa Town, LDA City, Johar Town, and Tajpura also received significant bids during the auction.
