The Chief Commissioner of Islamabad, Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Sohail Ashraf, visited the ongoing construction sites of the National Police Academy building, the Elite Police School, and the expansion of the Islamabad Safe City project.

The Islamabad Police IG and other relevant officials accompanied them during the inspection.

During the visit, the CDA Chairman was briefed about the progress of the National Police Academy’s construction. The project, which includes a nine-story building, is advancing at a rapid pace, with construction work now in its final stages.

The completion of all floors is nearing, and the finishing touches are being applied simultaneously to ensure timely delivery.

The Academy’s new facilities will include state-of-the-art training resources designed for the modern needs of police officers in training.

The CDA Chairman instructed the relevant officials to ensure that all remaining construction work is completed as soon as possible, with high-quality standards maintained throughout the project. He emphasized the importance of providing top-tier training facilities for the academy’s recruits.

After the visit to the Police Academy, the delegation moved on to inspect the expansion of the Islamabad Safe City project.

The expansion is being upgraded with the latest technologies to enhance the city’s safety infrastructure. The Chairman also visited the Elite Police School, where new construction is underway to include rappelling towers and obstacle courses for advanced police training.

The Chairman of the CDA stressed the importance of maintaining high construction standards for all ongoing projects.

He directed that the work on both the Islamabad Safe City and Elite Police School be completed with the utmost quality to ensure they meet the advanced requirements for law enforcement training and urban safety.
