The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has intensified its campaign to recover outstanding electricity dues across its service area, warning that non-payment of bills will not be tolerated.
IESCO Chief Executive Officer Chaudhry Khalid Mahmood said special recovery teams have been formed to speed up the collection process and safeguard national resources while ensuring an uninterrupted power supply to consumers.
He urged consumers to pay their electricity bills on time to avoid disconnection and possible legal action.
Mahmood advised consumers not to wait until the due date and instead clear their bills promptly as part of their civic responsibility.
He said consumer cooperation is essential for the smooth operation of the power distribution system and the continued provision of quality services.
