The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced scheduled power outages in several areas of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum and Chakwal for Wednesday to carry out maintenance and routine development work.

According to an IESCO spokesperson, the company will suspend electricity supply from 5:00 am to 10:00 am to the Tramari, Lehtrar, ISI, Chattha and Rehara feeders in Islamabad Circle.

In Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, IESCO will disconnect power to the Ghazan Khan feeder from 5:00 am to 10:00 am and the Kambeli Sadiq feeder from 6:00 am to 10:00 am. In Attock Circle, the company will suspend electricity supply to the Wah General Hospital feeder from 5:00 am to 12:00 pm.

In Jhelum Circle, consumers connected to the City Housing, Sanghoi, Safdar Shaheed, Nathwala, Langarpur, Saeela, Pakhwal and F-9 (Chak Daulat) feeders will face power outages from 6:00 am to 10:00 am.

IESCO will also suspend electricity supply from 6:00 am to 10:00 am to the Khanpur, Jhand Khan Zada, Abdullah Pur, Jalal Pur, Sagharpur and CWO feeders in Chakwal Circle.

Meanwhile, the company will carry out maintenance work in the GSO Circle from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on the 132kV AWC HMC Taxila and 132kV Sangjani Burhan lines. It will also undertake work from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on the 132kV Chakwal Bhagwal Talagang, 132kV Kahuta City Palandri and 132kV New Wah Bahtermore lines, along with the related earth switches and surrounding areas.

IESCO apologized for the temporary inconvenience and said it will restore electricity before the scheduled time if the maintenance work finishes earlier than expected.
