The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced a power suspension schedule for Wednesday in various areas across its service region due to maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, the Islamabad Circle will suspend electricity supply from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Waheed Abad, Khanna Dak, UC-2, Burma, Rehman Enclave, Shareefabad, Sudhran, Waris Valley, Khadhrapur, Khanna East and Ghauri Garden feeders. The suspension will continue from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. in Taramri, Lehtrar Road and ISI feeders, and from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Gharial feeders.
In the Rawalpindi City Circle, IESCO will suspend power supply from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Al-Noor Colony and AFOSH feeders. In the Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, the company will suspend supply from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. in Jhata Hatyal, Bhal and Jarrar Camp feeders, and from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. in Jail Park-1, Car Chowk, Mehboob Shaheed, Park View, Pindi Board and Chowk Pindori feeders.
In the Attock Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Hussainabad, Lala Zar and Industrial State Bathar feeders, and from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. in Katchery, Dar-ul-Islam Colony, Attock Cantt and Dhoke Fateh feeders.
In the Jhelum Circle, IESCO will suspend power supply from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. in Karyala, Metro City, Grand City, Bolani, Jakkar and F-9 (Chak Daulat) feeders.
In the GSO Circle, IESCO will suspend supply from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. along the 132KV T/Line Sangjani-Pirwadhai (PWD-I). The company will also suspend supply from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the 132KV GSS Rawat-II power transformer T-1, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 132KV AWC HMC Taxila and 132KV Sangjani-Burhan, and from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at 132KV Kahuta City-Palandri and 132KV New Wah-Bahtermore, along with the related earth switch and surrounding areas.
