Representatives of the Green Enclave-I allottees met Federal Government Employees Housing Authority (FGEHA) Project Director Mohsin Sardar on Friday to seek an update on the long delayed housing project and the implementation of assurances previously given by the authority regarding.

The delegation, comprising Chaudhary Amjad Ali, Chaudhary Ahsanul Haq, Aslam Chaudhary, Rana Arshad, and Tahir Mahmood, urged the FGEHA to expedite the remaining infrastructure work and hand over residential plots to allottees without further delay.

Speaking during the meeting, delegation leader Chaudhary Amjad Ali said thousands of government employees had invested in the scheme with the hope of building homes for their families, but years of delays had caused significant hardship. He noted that many allottees have already retired, while others passed away before receiving possession of their plots.

Responding to the delegation, Project Director Mohsin Sardar said negotiations with the joint venture partner were nearing completion. He said the mutually agreed terms between the FGEHA and the joint venture partner would soon be presented to the Executive Board for approval.

According to Sardar, once the Executive Board approves the agreement, the remaining obstacles to the project are expected to be cleared, allowing infrastructure development work to resume. He assured the allottees that the authority is working to complete the pending formalities as quickly as possible so the long delayed Green Enclave-I project can move forward.
