Dell has officially introduced the Alienware Aurora 16X (2026), a new high-performance gaming laptop aimed at competitive players and users with demanding creative workloads. The laptop is now available through Dell’s online sales platforms.

The new Aurora 16X combines Intel’s latest Core Ultra processors, an OLED high refresh rate screen, and Nvidia graphics in a premium chassis.

The Alienware Aurora 16X features a 16-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. The panel supports a 240Hz refresh rate, covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, and reaches up to 620 nits peak brightness.

It is also certified for VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 and ClearMR 9000 standards. Dell has used premium anodized aluminum materials for the chassis.

The laptop includes a full-size keyboard with RGB lighting and a dedicated number pad. Users can also switch the keyboard into a quieter mode with subtle white backlighting.

Dell is offering the Aurora 16X in two processor configurations. The base version uses the Intel Core Ultra 7 270HX Plus, while the higher-end model comes with the Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus. Graphics are handled by the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 GPU.

The laptop includes 32GB of DDR5 RAM running at 5600MT/s and supports upgrades up to 64GB. Storage includes a 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Dual SSD slots are available, allowing expansion up to 4TB.

Dell has equipped the laptop with its Cryo-Tech thermal system.

Cooling hardware includes dual fans, three heat pipes, four vents, and a Cryo-Chamber layout to improve airflow and heat dissipation during heavy workloads.

The Aurora 16X packs a 96Whr battery and ships with a 280W power adapter for sustained performance during long gaming sessions.

The laptop includes Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI 2.1, RJ-45 Ethernet, multiple USB-A and USB-C ports, and a universal audio jack.

Wireless connectivity is handled through the MediaTek MT7925 card with Wi-Fi 7 support.

The base Alienware Aurora 16X starts at $2,566 with the Intel Core Ultra 7 270HX Plus processor. The higher-end version with the Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus is priced at $2,860.

Dell said the laptop is now available through its e-commerce platforms.
