The Balochistan government has decided to observe Friday as a working day across all government offices in the province.
The Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) has issued a circular announcing the decision.
According to the circular, the government has introduced the change as a continuation of its previous notification issued on June 21, 2026. Under the new decision, all government offices across Balochistan will observe Friday as a working day.
The provincial government has directed all relevant departments, administrative secretaries, divisional commissioners and other senior officials to ensure strict implementation of the decision in letter and spirit.
