Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has announced government jobs for Abdul Razzaq Khilji and his brother in recognition of their timely help to Dr Mahnoor Nasar after an acid attack at Civil Hospital Quetta.
During a meeting with the two young men at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, Bugti praised their courage, humanity and selflessness. He said Abdul Razzaq Khilji had risked his own life to assist the injured doctor.
The chief minister said such responsible and compassionate young people set an example for society and are a source of pride for the province.
He added that the government values citizens who step forward to save lives and support people in distress, and will continue to encourage those who show extraordinary service to humanity.
Mr Khilji and his brother thanked the chief minister for the recognition, support and employment offer, calling it an honour. They also appreciated the government’s timely response to the incident.
