Asus has expanded its business laptop lineup at Computex 2026 with the ExpertBook B5 Flip G2 (B5406FMA), a 14-inch convertible Windows laptop designed for professionals, educators, and students who need a flexible work and learning device.

Here are the details.

The ExpertBook B5 Flip G2 can be configured with up to an Intel Core 7 Series 3 processor, Intel graphics, and an NPU capable of up to 18 TOPS for AI-assisted tasks.

The laptop supports up to 32GB of LPDDR5X memory and up to 1TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. It also includes a 63Wh battery with rapid charging support for workday use.

The ExpertBook B5 Flip G2 uses a 360-degree hinge that allows the laptop to switch between laptop, tablet, tent, and display modes. This makes it suitable for meetings, classroom use, presentations, note-taking,g and sketching.

The laptop features a 14-inch NanoEdge touchscreen with a 16:10 aspect ratio, 400 nits of brightness, and an 84% screen-to-body ratio.

Asus has also included a built-in MPP 2.0 stylus that can be stored inside the chassis. A 15-second charge provides up to 60 minutes of stylus use.

The laptop includes a 1080p FHD plus IR front camera for video calls. It can also be configured with an optional 5MP world-facing camera for capturing documents, images, and real-world content in tablet or tent mode.

Both cameras include physical privacy shutters, giving users direct control when the cameras are not in use.

Connectivity options include dual Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, HDMI 2.1, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, Wi Fi 7, and an audio combo jack.

The aluminium chassis weighs around 1.34kg and measures 14.9mm thick, making it portable enough for office, classroom, and hybrid work use.

Asus has equipped the ExpertBook B5 Flip G2 with business-focused security features, including a TPM 2.0 chip, NIST SP 800 193-compliant BIOS, an optional fingerprint scanner, and Windows 11 Secured-Core technologies.

The laptop also meets MIL STD 810H durability standards, adding protection against everyday workplace and classroom use.

Asus has not announced pricing for the ExpertBook B5 Flip G2 yet.

The laptop is expected to arrive in select markets during the third quarter of 2026.
