Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) in Islamabad has announced a three-month face-to-face Russian language course for beginners.
According to the announcement, the next session will begin on June 1, 2026. The course will be held at the Russian Language and Culture Center, Allama Iqbal Open University, Academic Complex, H-8, Islamabad.
The program is designed for individuals who want to learn Russian from the basics, as it will focus on building a strong foundation in Russian grammar and improving practical communication skills.
AIOU said the classes will be taught by a native Russian speaker certified by the Russian Ministry of Education, giving learners the opportunity to study the language through direct face-to-face instruction.
The course will include continuous assessments as well as a final examination.
Successful participants will receive an official certificate. According to the announcement, the certificate may support applications for Master’s and PhD scholarships in Russia and Central Asian states.
The fee for the complete three-month program has been set at Rs. 5,000.
AIOU has clarified that it will not provide accommodation, travel, or refreshments. Participants will be required to manage these arrangements on their own.
