The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has recommended nine Armed Forces officers for induction into Pakistan’s civil services through the CSS Competitive Examination 2025.
The FPSC announced the recommendations in a press release issued on August 25, 2026.
According to the commission, the officers were recommended after completing the psychological assessment and viva voce under the special quota reserved for Armed Forces officers.
The recommended officers have been allocated to three major occupational groups.
Five officers have been allocated to the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS). Two have been allocated to the Police Service of Pakistan (PSP) and Foreign Service of Pakistan (FSP) each.

The CSS system allows a limited number of Armed Forces officers to enter the civil services through a separate selection process.
Under this route, eligible officers undergo psychological assessment and interviews before FPSC makes final recommendations.
The latest selections include officers from the Pakistan Army, Pakistan Air Force, and Pakistan Navy.
FPSC said it had taken due care to ensure the accuracy of the results. However, the commission also reserved the right to correct any errors or omissions at any stage.
