Xiaomi has started selling the Redmi Watch 6 and Redmi Watch 6 NFC outside China, several months after the smartwatch first launched in October.
The Redmi Watch 6 features a 2.07-inch AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate, 324ppi pixel density, and 2mm symmetrical bezels.
Xiaomi said the display offers an 82% screen-to-body ratio and can reach up to 2,000 nits peak brightness. The smartwatch also supports always-on display and raise-to-wake features.
The device uses a 9.9mm unibody design with an aluminum alloy frame. Xiaomi said the body is 1.4mm thinner than the previous generation while offering improved durability. The design also includes a raised stainless steel dial and an additional physical button for shortcuts and controls.
The smartwatch packs a 550mAh battery rated for up to 24 days with light usage, 12 days under normal usage, and seven days with intensive use.
It also includes a linear motor with more than 20 vibration patterns for notifications, alarms, and health alerts.
The Redmi Watch 6 supports over 150 sports modes, 5ATM water resistance, and independent GNSS positioning. The GNSS system uses dual L1 antennas and supports five positioning systems.
Health tracking features include heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen tracking, stress monitoring, sleep analysis, breathing exercises, and women’s health management. The Redmi Watch 6 NFC additionally supports contactless payments through Mastercard and Visa.
The standard Redmi Watch 6 starts at $125. The NFC version is priced at $139.
