Former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram has appealed to the public for help in locating his missing pet dog, Duke, after the German Shepherd went missing from DHA Phase 8, Karachi.
The cricket legend shared the appeal on his official Instagram account, urging residents to remain vigilant and report any information that could help reunite the family with their pet.
Duke is a five-month-old black German Shepherd with a long coat and no visible markings.
Wasim Akram and his wife, Shaniera Akram, have requested residents, security personnel, and local communities in DHA Phase 8 to assist in the search. They said the puppy may have wandered into nearby parks, gardens, streets, rooftops, or garages and asked people to check these locations carefully.
To encourage public assistance, the family has announced a reward of Rs. 250,000 for anyone who provides credible information leading to Duke’s safe recovery or helps bring him home.
The family has also urged people to share only verified information and avoid circulating unconfirmed reports regarding the dog’s whereabouts.
As of now, Duke has not been found, and the search for the missing pet remains ongoing.
