Bahawalnagar Saddar police arrested a male TikToker on Friday for allegedly creating an AI-generated obscene video of a rival female TikToker and uploading it on social media.

According to the FIR registered on Thursday, the suspect, identified as Zain, is a resident of 430/6R village. Police said he allegedly made the fake obscene video with the help of an unidentified accomplice.

The female TikToker, who also runs a beauty salon in 37/3R village, was allegedly targeted to humiliate her on social media.

Police said Zain allegedly used abusive language and threatened to kill the woman when she confronted him over the video.

Police arrested Zain after the woman filed a complaint and started an investigation. His alleged accomplice remains at large.

Police sources said the suspect confessed that he uploaded the fake video because he was jealous that the female TikToker’s content was getting more views than his.

A sessions court on Friday sentenced a man to death for killing his wife in the name of “honour” in Haroonabad about seven months ago.

According to the prosecution, Arshad, a resident of village 55/4R in Haroonabad, had married his cousin Tahira Parveen about 20 years ago. The couple had a son and two daughters.

The prosecution said Arshad suspected his wife’s character and frequently tortured her over the issue.

On Dec 25, 2025, Arshad stabbed his wife in the neck with a knife and fled. She died on the spot.

Saddar Police registered a case under Section 302 of the PPC on the complaint of the victim’s mother, Shakeela, and arrested the suspect.

Additional Sessions Judge Malik Naeem Shaukat sentenced Arshad to death and ordered him to pay Rs500,000 in compensation to the victim’s family.
