A second-year student at a private university in Lahore was found dead in his hostel room, with the initial postmortem examination suggesting cardiac arrest as the possible cause of death.
The deceased, Ahmed Adnan, belonged to Kasur and was enrolled under the university’s National Outreach Program (NOP). He had been living in the university hostel during his studies.
The university administration discovered him in his hostel room on Thursday and immediately informed the authorities. Officials later notified his family about his death.
Police found no visible signs of violence on his body during the initial examination. Doctors conducted a postmortem, and the preliminary findings indicated that cardiac arrest was the likely cause of death. The family decided not to pursue legal proceedings over the incident.
