Gas supplies in Quetta have been temporarily affected after an 18-inch pipeline was damaged, according to the Sui Southern Gas Company.
The company said it has revised the gas supply schedule in parts of Quetta while repair work is underway.
Under the temporary arrangement, gas will be supplied from 6:30 am to 8:30 am, 12 pm to 3pm and 6:30 pm to 9 pm.
Supplies will remain suspended during the remaining hours to maintain pressure and ensure operational stability in the network.
SSGC said the normal supply schedule will be restored once repairs are completed and the situation improves.
The company added that gas supplies have also been temporarily suspended in some parts of Balochistan due to the same pipeline damage.
