The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has partially closed the main runway at Skardu Airport due to ongoing maintenance work, affecting flight operations for several hours each day.
In a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM), the authority said Runway 14L/32R will remain unavailable daily from 8am to 4pm.
Officials said the restriction will continue until June 28 as repair work is carried out.
A PAA spokesperson said the maintenance includes seal coating of the runway surface, repair of cracks, and repainting of runway markings.
The authority said the runway can be made available in case of emergency, provided air traffic control is informed at least one hour in advance.
