Samsung has introduced its 2026 Micro RGB TV lineup in the US, expanding its premium television range with two new series: the R95H and R85H.
The new lineup starts at 55 inches and extends to 115 inches, giving buyers more screen size options for different room setups.
The key update this year is Samsung’s Micro RGB display system.
Instead of using traditional backlighting, the TVs use thousands of self-emitting red, green, and blue LEDs. This design helps reduce color bleeding and improve color precision. Samsung said the panels deliver full BT.2020 color gamut coverage, verified by VDE.
The R95H series also includes an anti-glare layer designed to improve visibility in bright rooms.
The TVs are powered by Samsung’s new Micro RGB AI Engine Pro processor. The chip adjusts picture quality in real time by improving sharpness, motion handling, and color output.
Additional features include Micro RGB Color Booster Pro for flat-looking scenes, Micro RGB HDR Pro for brighter highlights and deeper contrast, and AI Motion Enhancer Pro for smoother, fast-moving content such as sports and scrolling text. The lineup also supports HDR10+ Advanced.
Samsung is also targeting gamers with higher refresh rates. The R95H supports up to 165Hz, while the R85H supports up to 144Hz. Both models are designed to reduce input lag and motion blur during gameplay.
The TVs support Dolby Atmos and Object Tracking Sound, which aligns audio with movement on screen.
Q-Symphony support allows up to five compatible Samsung audio devices to work together.
The lineup runs Samsung’s updated One UI Tizen platform, which includes Samsung TV Plus with more than 2,700 free streaming channels and Gaming Hub for cloud gaming.
Samsung said the platform will receive up to seven years of software updates.
The R95H supports Wireless One Connect for cable management or wireless setup options. Both series support wall mounting through Samsung’s Slim Fit bracket. Users also get access to the Samsung Art Store, which includes more than 5,000 artworks and a rotating free collection.
Pricing starts at $1,599.99 for the 55-inch R85H. The 85-inch R95H is priced at $6,499.99. Samsung’s carry-over 115-inch MR95F model is listed at $29,999.99, while a 100-inch version is expected later this year.
