RedMagic has introduced a new gaming mouse in China during its 11S Pro launch event.

The mouse uses a full carbon fiber top shell with a magnesium-aluminum alloy base. This design brings its weight down to 49 grams without using a plastic chassis.

Lightweight gaming mice have become popular in recent years, but some models use weak materials or honeycomb designs with holes to reduce weight.

RedMagic is using carbon fiber and metal to avoid those compromises. The company says the mouse can handle up to 100kg of pressure, which means it should not flex, bend, or creak when users grip it tightly during gaming.

The mouse has a symmetrical design, but RedMagic says it is ergonomically optimized for right-handed users. It is mainly built for people with larger hands and supports palm, claw, and fingertip grip styles.

The RedMagic carbon fiber gaming mouse uses a PixArt PAW3950 sensor.

The sensor supports up to 30,000 DPI, 750 IPS tracking speed, and 50G acceleration. The mouse also includes custom optical switches rated for 100 million clicks.

For connectivity, it uses a Nordic 54L15 wireless chip. Users can connect the mouse through Bluetooth, a 2.4GHz wireless dongle, or a standard USB cable.

In wired and 2.4GHz wireless modes, the mouse supports an 8KHz polling rate to reduce input delay.

The mouse has a 306mAh battery. RedMagic has not shared a full battery life estimate for one complete charge. However, the company says a one-minute charge can provide enough power for 10 hours of use.

The mouse works with RedMagic’s TouWan software for customization. The software uses a web-based interface, allowing users to change DPI, polling rates, and button layouts directly through a browser without installing a separate desktop app.

The RedMagic carbon fiber gaming mouse will go on sale in China in June. Its standard price is about $190. At launch, it will be available for a limited time at around $146.

RedMagic has not announced international availability yet. However, the company’s gaming accessories usually reach other markets a few months after their China release.
