The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) issued a show-cause notice to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Veteran Enclave Limited over alleged illegal marketing and sale of plots in an unapproved housing scheme in the Taxila area.
According to reports, the notice was issued on the directives of Commissioner Rawalpindi Division and RDA Director General Engineer Aamir Khattak.
The action is part of the authority’s ongoing campaign against illegal and unapproved housing schemes operating in the region.
The RDA said the notice relates to alleged unlawful advertising campaigns, including promotional activity on social media platforms, and the sale of residential plots without obtaining the required No Objection Certificate (NOC) or approval from the relevant regulatory authority.
Officials said the Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE) Directorate has intensified monitoring of housing schemes suspected of operating without regulatory approval.
