The Education Authority Lahore has intensified its crackdown on unregistered private schools, deciding to seal 213 more institutions for failing to complete the required registration process.
According to officials, a summary has been sent to the district administration seeking action against the schools. The move comes after 30 private schools were previously sealed for non-compliance.
Authorities said action will also be taken against other educational institutions that continue to ignore registration directives. CEO Education Tariq Mahmood said 744 private schools had already been issued a final warning to complete their registration.
Schools identified for action include Little Scholar School System, Peak School, New Horizon School, Wisdom Grammar School, City Grammar School, Mujahid Grammar School, Tariq Public School, Khawaja Saeed Model School, and The Smart School, among others.
The Education Authority said compliance with registration regulations is mandatory for all private educational institutions and warned that action against violators will continue without discrimination.
