Schools across Punjab will reopen on August 24 after the three-month summer vacation, with students and parents awaiting confirmation of the school timings for the new academic session.
The School Education Department has not yet issued a final official announcement on the school timings after the summer break.
According to the expected schedule, single-shift schools will operate from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. from Monday to Thursday, while Friday classes will run from 8 a.m. to noon.
In double-shift schools, the first shift is expected to run from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., while the second shift is expected to operate from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The expected school timings will remain subject to the final announcement from the School Education Department.
