The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) has been selected by the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), USA, as the recipient of the 2026 IACP Leadership in the Prevention of Vehicle Crimes Award.

The award will be formally presented during the IACP Annual Awards Banquet, which will take place at the conclusion of the 2026 IACP Annual Conference and Exposition in Orlando, Florida, on October 27.

In its congratulatory letter addressed to PSCA Managing Director Ahsan Younus, IACP President David B. Rausch described the Punjab Safe Cities Authority as a true example of leadership in the policing profession.

The recognition reflects the Punjab government’s efforts to modernize policing through technology driven initiatives aimed at improving public safety and preventing vehicle theft and related crimes.

The IACP is one of the world’s largest professional organizations for police leaders, representing law enforcement agencies from across the globe. The award places the Punjab Safe Cities Authority among internationally recognized organizations for excellence in policing and crime prevention.
