The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has announced new government jobs in different departments across Punjab through its latest advertisement.
According to the advertisement, applications are open for multiple posts in departments including Local Government and Community Development, Board of Revenue, Punjab Police Special Branch, Rescue 1122, Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education, Mines and Minerals, Child Protection and Welfare Bureau, and Information and Culture Department.
The advertisement was published on 21 July 2026, while the last date to submit online applications is 05 August 2026.
Under PPSC Advertisement No. 07/2026, the commission has announced posts in different pay scales from BS-11 to BS-18.
The vacancies include Municipal Officer, Assistant, Junior Clerk, Stenographer, Technical Officer Software, Database Administrator, Emergency Officer, Senior Medical Officer, Public Relation Officer, Purchase Officer, Social Welfare Officer, Assistant HR Officer, Assistant Officer Planning, Senior Registrar, Head Draftsman, Child Psychologist, Information Officer, and Junior Computer Operator.
A major number of posts have been announced in the Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department, especially for Senior Registrar positions in different specialties.
The eligibility criteria are different for each post. Candidates with Intermediate, Graduation, Master’s degree, MBBS, FCPS, engineering degree, computer science degree, psychology, journalism, and relevant diplomas can apply according to the requirements of the post.
Some posts also require relevant work experience, professional registration, typing speed, shorthand speed, or computer proficiency.
Most posts will require a one-paper MCQ written test of 100 marks with a duration of 90 minutes.
For some posts, the test will be based on general ability, while for technical and professional posts, questions will be related to the required qualification or field.
For clerical and stenographer posts, candidates may also have to appear in typing, shorthand, or proficiency tests after qualifying the written exam.
