Pakistan International Airlines has announced a major fare cut for passengers travelling from Pakistan to Saudi Arabia, offering a 40 percent discount on flights to Riyadh and Dammam.
According to the airline’s spokesperson, the discounted fares have taken effect immediately and are aimed at providing relief to passengers travelling on two of the busiest Saudi routes used by Pakistanis.
PIA said the concession applies specifically to flights from Pakistan to Riyadh and Dammam, which remain among the most frequently used destinations for Pakistani travelers heading to the Kingdom.
Airline officials said the decision was taken in view of the heavy passenger traffic on these routes and to reduce travel costs for people flying to Saudi Arabia.
The spokesperson said the fare reduction would give passengers noticeable relief in ticket prices and make travel to the two cities more affordable.
The move is likely to benefit a large number of travelers, particularly overseas Pakistanis and workers who regularly use Riyadh and Dammam routes for work and family travel.
