The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has approved the budget for the national men’s team’s tri-series against Ireland and Zimbabwe in the 2026-27 fiscal year.

According to insiders, the PCB has approved the budget for new and scheduled men’s and women’s cricket series for the 2026-27 financial year. The approved schedule includes a tri-series involving Pakistan, Ireland and Zimbabwe.

This will be Pakistan men’s team’s second tri-series assignment, as they are already scheduled to play Sri Lanka and England in a tri-nation ODI series this year.

Reports also said that Ireland’s men’s team will play a Test match during their tour of Pakistan. Pakistan is also scheduled to host Sri Lanka and New Zealand during the fiscal year.

Sri Lanka will tour Pakistan for two Tests and three T20Is, while New Zealand will play two Test matches against the home side.

Pakistan men’s team will also tour Ireland for a one-off Test and England for five ODIs and one red-ball match during the same financial year.

The national women’s cricket team is scheduled to host New Zealand for a three-match T20I series. They will later tour West Indies for three ODIs and three T20Is.

Pakistan Shaheens are also set to tour Australia for eight T20 matches during the next financial year. Meanwhile, England Under-19 will visit Pakistan for three One-Day matches and two three-day fixtures.

In addition, the Sri Lanka Under-17 team is scheduled to tour Pakistan. The PCB will also host a Women’s Under-19 tri-series featuring Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

Reports further revealed that the PCB Governing Board has approved men’s domestic, women’s domestic and regional-level tournaments for the 2026-27 financial year.
