Pakistan’s National Cyber Emergency Response Team has launched a cybersecurity internship program to help prepare skilled professionals for the protection of the country’s cyberspace.

The internship program is open to students and recent graduates who are interested in building a career in cybersecurity. The internship will run for six weeks and will provide practical training under the guidance of experienced cybersecurity professionals.

The internship will cover key areas of cybersecurity, including:

The program will provide interns with hands-on experience and help them understand how cybersecurity professionals respond to threats, manage vulnerabilities and work on security-related challenges.

Selected candidates will also receive training and mentorship from experienced cybersecurity experts throughout the program.

Applicants should have a basic understanding of computers and online security. Familiarity with computer networks, software, or coding can be helpful, but it is not required.

The internship is aimed at giving students and fresh graduates practical exposure to the cybersecurity field while supporting Pakistan’s efforts to build a trained workforce for cyber defense.

Applications can be submitted online through the National Cyber Emergency Response Team website , with the deadline set for June 16, 2026.
