Great Wall Motors (GWM) has officially launched the ORA 5 EV in Pakistan, with an ex-factory price of Rs. 8,599,000, while bookings have opened with an initial payment of Rs. 1,700,000.

The ORA 5 is already available in several international markets, including China, New Zealand, South Africa, Thailand, and other East Asian countries, and arrives in Pakistan with the same all-electric powertrain offered globally.

Powered by a 58.3 kWh battery pack, the ORA 5 delivers a WLTP-certified driving range of up to 435 kilometers on a single charge. The electric motor produces 201 horsepower and 260 Nm of torque, enabling the front-wheel-drive hatchback to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in around eight seconds.

In terms of size, the ORA 5 is longer and wider than several hatchbacks currently sold in Pakistan, including the Suzuki Swift, Dongfeng Box, and Kia Stonic.

The larger dimensions are expected to provide a roomier cabin with improved passenger comfort and generous legroom for both front and rear occupants.

The vehicle also comes equipped with a wide range of premium features, including a full Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite, leather seats, and several modern technology and safety features commonly found in the latest generation of Chinese electric vehicles.
