The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has rejected reports claiming that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is engaged and preparing to get married later this year.

Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab, who also serves as a spokesperson for Bilawal Bhutto, dismissed the reports as incorrect and unfounded.

The speculation began circulating on social media and in some online reports.

The claims suggested that Bilawal had become engaged to a woman from Liechtenstein and that the wedding could take place before the end of 2026.

Some reports also claimed that President Asif Ali Zardari had travelled to Europe with family members to discuss the proposed marriage and finalize a wedding date.

However, none of these claims has been officially confirmed.

Responding to the speculation, Murtaza Wahab categorically rejected reports about Bilawal’s engagement and wedding plans.

He said the information being circulated was baseless and should not be treated as confirmed news.

The denial is significant because Wahab speaks on Bilawal’s behalf and is a senior PPP leader.

Some social media posts went further and circulated the name of a possible bride.

However, neither Bilawal Bhutto, his family nor the PPP has confirmed the identity of any woman linked to the reported marriage.

No engagement ceremony, wedding date or official announcement has been made so far.

Therefore, reports suggesting that Bilawal Bhutto is set to marry remain unverified despite widespread speculation online.

Unless the Bhutto-Zardari family or the PPP makes an official announcement, the claims should be treated as rumors.
