MSI has launched the MAG 276QP42 gaming monitor in China with a 27-inch Fast IPS panel, a 1440p resolution, and an overclocked 425Hz refresh rate.
The monitor is priced at $322, which is surprisingly low for monitors in this range.
The MSI MAG 276QP42 uses a 27-inch Fast IPS panel with a 2560 x 1440 resolution.
The display supports an overclocked refresh rate of 425Hz and a 0.5ms gray-to-gray response time. It also includes Adaptive Sync support and is compatible with Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync to help reduce screen tearing during gameplay.
For color coverage, the monitor supports 98.1% of the DCI P3 color gamut, 94.3% of Adobe RGB, and 127.5% of sRGB.
It uses an 8-bit + FRC setup to deliver 10-bit color depth. The monitor also reaches 400 nits of brightness in SDR mode and carries VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification.
MSI has added several gaming-focused tools to the MAG 276QP42.
The AI Vision feature improves visibility in darker parts of a game without overexposing the rest of the image. The monitor also includes a smart crosshair that automatically changes color based on the background, making targets easier to track.
The monitor can also shrink the visible display area to 24.5 inches. This gives competitive players a smaller viewing area, which can help keep more of the game inside their central vision.
Other features include a built-in zoom function and a low motion blur setting for clearer motion during fast gameplay.
For everyday use, the monitor has an anti-glare matte coating, DC dimming, and TÜV Rheinland-certified low blue light technology.
The included stand supports height adjustment, tilt, swivel, and pivot. Users can also mount the display on a third-party arm through a standard 100 x 100mm VESA mount.
The MSI MAG 276QP42 includes two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4a, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
It also supports HDMI CEC, picture-in-picture, and picture-by-picture modes, allowing users to connect and manage multiple devices at the same time.
