The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that Hajj flights from Pakistan have commenced today, April 18, 2026.
According to officials, the Hajj flight operation will continue until May 21, transporting thousands of pilgrims to Hijaz, including Medina and Mecca.
A total of 468 flights will be operated under the government Hajj scheme. On the first day, flights are departing from Karachi, Lahore, Sialkot, and Multan.
Pilgrims can check their flight details through the Pak Hajj 2026 or the ministry’s website. Authorities have advised pilgrims to stay updated via the app for further announcements.
Around 119,000 Pakistani pilgrims will travel under the government scheme, including 67,230 men and 51,846 women.
The operation will span 34 days, with the first 15 days dedicated to transporting pilgrims to Medina. A total of 186 flights will land in Medina, while 282 will operate to Jeddah, with Jeddah-bound flights starting from May 4.
The first long-Hajj flight to Medina is scheduled for May 7, while the final flight will depart on May 21.
Airlines participating in the operation include Pakistan International Airlines, Airblue, AirSial, and Saudi Arabian Airlines.
Flights will operate from eight cities, including Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, Multan, Sialkot, Faisalabad, and Sukkur.
Officials said pilgrims will be informed of their individual flight schedules, as the country begins its annual Hajj operation.
