The Islamabad High Court has approved a major increase in transport monetization allowance for judicial officers and high court officers, raising the monthly amount for Grade 17 to 22 officials.
According to the notification, the revised rates will take effect from July 1, 2026.
Under the new structure, Grade 22 officers will receive Rs250,000 per month, while Grade 21 officers will get Rs195,000. Grade 20 officers have been allocated Rs175,000, and Grade 19 officers will receive Rs150,000.
Grade 18 officers will be given Rs100,000 per month, while Grade 17 officers will receive Rs60,000.
The notification said Chief Justice Sardar Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar approved the increase, after which the registrar of the Islamabad High Court issued the formal order.
It further stated that the expense will be met from the budget allocated for the Islamabad High Court and the district judiciary for the 2026-27 financial year.
