A man allegedly shot and killed his parents and brother following a domestic dispute in Peshawar, according to police.

The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the Sarband Police Station. Police said the suspect opened fire on his father, mother, and brother before fleeing the scene.

A police team reached the location shortly after receiving the report and shifted the victims’ bodies to a nearby hospital for postmortem examinations.

Authorities have launched a search operation to arrest the suspect, while an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances that led to the triple murder.

The incident comes just days after another triple killing in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. On July 3, three people, including two women, were shot dead in an alleged honor killing in the Matta Mughal area under the jurisdiction of Shabqadar Police Station.

Police registered the case on behalf of the state after no family member of the victims came forward to file a complaint.

According to the FIR, the investigation was initiated by Sub-Inspector Khan Mohammad Khan, and efforts are ongoing to arrest the suspects involved in that case.
