Lahore Traffic Police has announced a special traffic plan for 12 Rabi-ul-Awwal processions on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, to manage traffic flow across the city.

The plan includes traffic diversions, alternate routes, and parking arrangements for citizens attending the religious gatherings.

Traffic Police has advised citizens to follow the announced routes and cooperate with officials deployed for traffic management.

According to the advisory, traffic coming from different areas will be diverted through alternate routes during the processions.

Vehicles approaching procession routes from Thokar Niaz Baig, Multan Road, and surrounding areas will use alternative routes to avoid congestion.

Traffic coming from Shahdara, Ravi Road, and nearby areas will also follow diversion points announced by the Traffic Police.

Vehicles travelling from Azadi Chowk, Circular Road, and other connected routes will be managed through alternate roads during the procession timings.

Traffic Police will also make special arrangements for VIP movement and emergency routes.
