Officials also briefed the minister on the government’s wider transport plans, including the phased induction of 1,000 electric buses into the provincial public transport system later this year.

The meeting also reviewed the progress of the Red Line BRT project. Sharjeel Memon directed officials to complete the construction of all Red Line BRT depots according to the approved schedule.

He said the Sindh government wants to provide citizens with modern, safe, and environmentally friendly public transportation.
