The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced scheduled power outages in parts of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, and Jhelum on Saturday due to maintenance and routine development work.

According to an IESCO spokesperson, electricity supply will remain suspended in several areas of Islamabad, including Waheedabad, Khanna Dak, UC-2, Burma, Rehman Enclave, Shareefabad, Sudhran, Waris Valley, Khadhrapur, Khanna East, and Ghauri Garden, from 5:00 am to 12:00 pm. Power will also remain suspended on the Tramri, Lehtrar Road, ISI, and Ali Pur feeders from 6:00 am to 10:00 am.

In Rawalpindi, outages will affect areas served by the Jhata Hatyal, Bhal, Jarrar Camp, Chowk Pindori, Al-Noor Colony, and AFOSH feeders during different timings between 5:00 am and 12:00 pm. In Attock, electricity supply will remain suspended on the Fawara Chowk feeder from 6:00 am to 10:00 am.

In Jhelum, scheduled outages will affect areas served by the Karyala, Metro City, Grand City, Bolani, Chamala, City Housing, Sanghoi, Safdar Shaheed, Nathwala, F-2 (Chip Board), Langarpur, New Cantt Jhelum, Saeela, Nougran, Abdullah Pur, Jalal Pur, Sagharpur, and CWO feeders between 6:00 am and 11:00 am.

IESCO also announced power interruptions in areas connected to several 132kV grid stations under the GSO Circle, including Rawat-II, AWC HMC Taxila, Sangjani-Burhan, Kahuta City-Palandri, New Wah-Bahtermore, Millatabad, Charing Cross, and Askari-XI, along with surrounding areas, due to maintenance work.

IESCO apologized for the temporary inconvenience and said electricity supply would be restored before the scheduled time if maintenance work is completed earlier than expected.
