HMD has officially launched the Vibe 2 5G after several teasers. The phone arrives as the successor to the HMD Vibe, which was launched in September 2025. The new model brings several upgrades, including a larger battery.
The HMD Vibe 2 5G features a 6.75-inch LCD. The screen offers HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The phone comes in Cosmic Lavender, Nordic Blue, and Peach Pink color options. It also includes an IP64 rating for dust and splash resistance.
It also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The smartphone is powered by the Unisoc T8200 chipset. It comes with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. HMD has also included a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 1TB.
The phone runs Android 16 out of the box and will receive two years of security patches.
The HMD Vibe 2 5G has a 50MP primary rear camera. It also includes an auxiliary rear lens, but HMD has not revealed its details.
For selfies, the phone comes with an 8MP front camera.
The HMD Vibe 2 5G packs a 6,000mAh battery. However, it supports only 18W wired charging.
The base model with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage is priced at around $115. The 4GB and 128GB version costs around $125.
